Back in 2015, when I was in my second year in college, a friend who was also a K-pop fan lent her phone to me. I scrolled through it for no reason, and I came across these adorable singers, a girl and a boy, which I initially mistook for a collaboration. But then my friend informed me that they are siblings.
I found them on their cool Eyes, Nose, Lips cover. It was sung originally by "Taeyang," a member of Bigbang. "Daebak" is all I can say at that point because I was speechless. They debuted under YG Entertainment in 2014 after appearing on K-pop Star 2 in 2012. On April 7, 2014, Chanhyuk and Suhyun aka Akdong Musician or AKMU, became South Korea's most dominant duo. Each song written by the Lee siblings has its own unique charm. Their sound is modern folk with childlike innocence they achieve through vocal clarity and lyrical mastery.
