Dark Hole features someone's survival story against humans turning into mutated monsters after they inhaled a mysterious black smoke from the sinkhole of Muji City.
Written and directed by Jing Yi Do (Strangers From Hell). Actress Kim Ok Bin as Lee Hwa Sum performs the role of homicide detective of the Seoul Police.
The story began when Lee Hwa Sum receives a disturbing phone call from her husband's killer. This mysterious caller told her to go to Muji City. But upon her arrival, she discovered that the people there transformed into deadly monsters.
The lead character desperately wanted to find out who killed her husband despite all the monstrous obstacles she faces.
Meanwhile, actor Lee Joon Hyuk plays Yoo Tae Han, a native resident of Muji City and a former police officer. He helps detective Lee Hwa Sun to investigate the dark hole.
Dark Hole is a sci-fi thriller packed with the adrenaline rush, gore, and terror.
The movie has an excellent location and high-definition cinematography.
Actress Kim Ok Bin performed her role well as Lee Hwa Sum. In the ending, there's a great revelation that would change Lee Hwa Sum's life forever.
Kim Ok Bin is a South Korean actress/taekwondo expert. She started as a beauty queen in a 2004 internet beauty contest. She is known for her roles in the film The Villainess, and the Korean drama Arthdal Chronicles.
Lee Joon Hyuk recently reprised his role in the Dream of Secrets, Star Lover in 2009, and I'm a Legend in 2010.
Dark Hole will be officially released on April 2021.
