One of the most colorful seasons is finally coming soon! Here's where you can catch the autumn foliage in Korea this 2018.

Autumn is the season where temperature gradually changes from super hot Summer to mildly cool Winter. In Korea, autumn usually start in the last week of September and lasts until November.

Travel experts recommend travelling in Korea during this season as you can expect a good weather and you can make the streets like your own fashion runway wearing only one layer of coat or cardigan on top of your favorite shirts and dresses. The most anticipated sight during the autumn season in Korea is the changing colors of leaves. Here's a guide to your autumn foliage journey in Korea.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (Kweather), you can catch the first wave of autumn foliage in Korea as early as September 27 at the Mt. Seoraksan in Gangwon Province with its peak on October 18. While you can catch the last of it at Jeju Island's Mt. Hallasan from October 19 until a few days after its peak on November 1.
