South Korean Actor Jung Hae-In returns to Manila with a fun-filled celebration of his 10th year showbiz anniversary via 2023 JUNG HAE IN [THE 10TH SEASON] FAN MEETING IN MANILA on Sunday, July 6 at the New Frontier Theater.
In his opening act, he serenaded the fans with ‘Crazy’ as he entered the stage. He then said that it’s been four years since he last visited the Philippines. The actor also mentioned that he planned years ago to come back, but a pandemic happened, so it didn’t push through.
Jung Hae-in warmly thanked his fans for their overwhelming support. He has been repeatedly saying ‘Salamat po!’ and ‘Mahal Kita, Philippines!’ to his PH Haeiness.
In the first segment, he made fans swoon with his genuine replies to the Q&A portion, which he chose from the post-it notes on the board that his fans had written before the event. The fans had also admired his simple gentleman gestures as he lifted the post-it board to make the fans clearly see the screen and by giving water to host Sam Oh.
A trip down memory lane happened as the segment ‘The 10th Season Photo Studio’ took us back to some of Hae-In’s iconic and exclusive photos. It was then followed by ‘Hae-In’s Museum,’ which featured some of the things that the actor used in his past shows. One of these is his favorite black cap that he wore in Snowdrop and Connect. The actor even gave away to his fans the bandage that he used in Snowdrop.
Fans had also ranked Hae-In’s shows for the past 10 years. Goblin placed at Rank 8, followed by Prison Playbook, Tune In For Love, One Spring Night, D.P., and While You Were Sleeping, at Ranks 7 to 3, respectively. Snowdrop placed as the fans’ second-most favorite, and Something in the Rain placed number one in fans’ hearts.
Meanwhile, Jung Hae-In expressed that his personal favorite show at the moment is D.P. because it is the most recent, and he enjoys portraying the character. He even joked with fans, encouraging them to watch D.P. because it only placed number 10 on Netflix Philippines during its airing.
On the second part of the fan meet, he sang ‘Memories More Than Love,’ which is an Official Soundtrack of his popular show, Snowdrop. Afterwards, he played his favorite sport on the segment called ‘Golf Season,’ wherein a photo time with cute accessories for every successful putt. The actor seemed to enjoy the game, as he didn't want to stop playing it. This made the host and fans laugh hilariously with his determination to putt a ball.
A heartwarming moment took place on the last segment titled ‘Your Season’ as Jung Hae-In read a personal letter from fans. In this segment, the chosen stories that he read received a gift that he prepared himself. Some stories contain how the actor inspired and motivated them during the dark days of their lives.
To conclude the fan meet, Jung Hae-In dedicated the song ‘Hidden Road’ to PH Haeiness, as he wants them to feel his comfort and love. He then once again sang the romantic song ‘I Choose To Love You’ as his final performance.
