After exploring his music with single releases and EPs in 2019, Milky Day officially joined Unbound Entertainment Group in January 2023, which worked with other K-indie artists such as Sam Kim and Shaun.
Milky Day is a Korean-New Zealand singer-songwriter and producer currently based in Sydney, Australia. Milky’s music journey started at the ripe age of 8 with classical piano lessons that further evolved into him producing his music in middle school. He further pushed his potential in creating music by moving to America to attend Amherst College, where he also started releasing music on Soundcloud and developed his musical style.
His style of music ranges from R&B to mellow, chill tracks that perfectly fit the Gen Z bedroom pop genres. Milky got his breakthrough in the lo-fi and K-indie scene after he collaborated with Frad and Hayne (on various songs), who are both lo-fi artists. He also collaborated with Elijah Lee, a fellow Korean living in New Zealand, on "How You Been" and "Paradise," which all did well on streaming platforms.
His other collaborations also gained a lot of traction on streaming platforms, such as "Youuu" with Gareth T. and a couple of tracks with Jimmy Brown, a famous R&B artist.
Milky also has his popular tracks in his pocket, including "You'll Be Alright" and "Take it Slow," which gained 47 million combined streams on Spotify alone.
Milky Day is opening up a new chapter in his music career with an EP release, production opportunities, and an upcoming tour on his schedule with his new management deal with Unbound Entertainment.
