(@ITZYofficial / Twitter)It's been more than a week since #WannaBeWithBENCH happened in Manila. Here are some of the significant moments of ITZY and facts they shared with us while they were here in the Philippines for their fan meeting for Filo-MIDZYs powered by BENCH.
"When we arrived here (Philippines) i was happy to wear summer clothes as it was winter in Korea that time" - Lia.
The members shared their thoughts about the brand and what they love about it and shared ideas about their partnership with BENCH and the recent campaign they had for the brand.
"We're very happy and we love comfortable clothes" - Yeji answered, sharing that they're all happy when they heard the news for the new campaign BENCH had for them and that she personally loves wearing outfits that are from BENCH.
Lia added that Wearing clothes that show the silhouette of her body is what she loved the most, which happens to be in BENCH and to be part of the new campaign, she was happy to be part of it. Ryujin also shared that BENCH outfits were all pretty and comfortable to wear.
The girls shared how they feel about coming back to the Philippines after their recent tour. After the tour, Yeji would love to have different activities in Manila that involve MIDZY in the future.
"Everytime we visit (The Philippines), we get to receive and recharge with the energy of the fans" - Lia.
Visiting the Philippines is one of the best things for her as all members get to receive the same amount of love specifically from the Filo-MIDZYs. The energy that Filo-MIDZYs are showing to the girls is worth the effort of coming back to the country. Lia added that she would love to try Banana Que.
In preparation for every performance, ITZY gives a sneak peak of how they always prepare whenever they will perform or prepare for important events such as awardings, music festivals, concerts, and other important events.
Ryujin revealed that they will first receive information about the show which includes the details of the theme that they have to follow which goes the same for the other artist as well. They also practice hard in countless days to get the perfect outcome they want to serve to the audience and their fans.
While time is the most important for all people, having free time is also a good routine to have. Yeji loves going out for a walk with really nice weather if she had free time, adding she also enjoyed having time for herself.
Did you know the reason behind the ITZY's hand sign? ITZY says it all started with the lullaby song Itsy Bitsy Spider. The members had fun talking about how it matches their group name to the song and the outcome is unexpectedly acknowledged by the fans, where even non-MIDZY knows the hand sign of ITZY.
As an Idol, singing and dancing were both preferable for most artists, and choosing only one for them as their talent is a really difficult thing to do. Thinking about their trainee days, both singing and dancing is one of the greatest factors that happened to them as an idol loved by many people and one of their inspirations now.
Chaeryeong seems to love both singing and dancing as it is both important for them as an idol group. Keeping the talent for these categories is extremely significant and is one of the main reasons why they debuted as an idol and a growing artist in this current generation.
Fanbase of ITZY is soaring high not only in Korea but also overseas. Yuna stated how they were happy to have a solid fan base both domestically and globally. ITZY were happy that a lot of people enjoyed their music, not only the MIDZYs but also the other people who are also non-Kpop fans.
Chaeryeong shared, she loves IU alot, specifically with its slow-paced songs such as Secret Garden by her favorite solo artist IU.
Despite ITZY's success, there are lots of reasons to have the group on the same page together. "The time we spent as a group to stay firm as a group as well" - Yuna. Yuna expresses that their bond as a group, friends, and as a family, is one of the main reasons they are keeping still. The bond that ITZY had is what's made them strong until now.
Moreover, the group enjoyed their stay in the Philippines for the #WannaBeWithBENCH Fanmeet in Manila where some MIDZYs saw the girls the night before the day of the Fanmeet at the BENCH store located in BGC, Taguig, shopping for a variety of clothes. Ryujin was seen eyeing for a Jollibee themed shirt and fans are giggling over it. MIDZYs were happy to know that ITZY uploaded a vlog on their YouTube page about the Fanmeet that BENCH had for them.
