After long months of waiting, the boy who lives in Gongjin is finally back!
Fans were ecstatic following the announcement of Kim Seon Ho's interesting and thrilling comeback, who recently won Most Outstanding Actor at the Seoul International Drama Awards for his outstanding performance in the series Hometown Cha Cha Cha, which captured the hearts of all Kdrama fans. Kim Seon Ho's portrayal of Hong Banjang in this endearing K-drama raised the bar for romantic relationships, and his undeniably charming appearance and demeanor will undoubtedly cause you to fall in love with him even more deeply.
The first anniversary of Hometown Cha Cha Cha was celebrated by a large number of fans across the globe who posted images and video clips from the show. They celebrated in various ways, including rewatching the show, creating fan-made video edits, and writing threads to candidly celebrate the success and remember the ‘Gongjin's homcha family’.
This celebration provided Kim Seon Ho fans a lot of hope after the actor abruptly went on a hiatus for over a year due to some concerns in which he is involved. Kim Seon Ho's Touching the Void stage show, which is based on the book that details the adventures of mountaineer Joe Simpson, gave long-awaited fans the chance to see him in person.
Along with enjoying these fleeting glances of Kim Seon Ho, fans are eagerly anticipating his new movie, Sad Tropics, which centers on the life of a Filipino-Korean boxer. In addition to this, Bench just revealed Kim Seon Ho as the newest brand ambassador for the aforementioned top fashion brand. Bench dubbed Kim Seon Ho the #GlobalBENCHSetter, and with that, they installed large billboards of him in Metro Manila marketing their products.

Fans in the Philippines got to see Kim Seon Ho at the famous Guadalupe Billboards, where he has four enormous ads that draw in both fans and random bystanders who notice the actor's good looks and charm. Since they can finally see Kim Seon Ho after waiting for him for almost a year, these billboards not only provide the fans kilig vibes but also a tremendous sense of hope.
With that said, Filipino fans are hopeful that Bench or his agency will host a fan meet event with Kim Seon Ho in Manila so that they may finally see him in person instead of just on billboards!
