Are you looking for a new summer adventure? South Korea got you covered with its amazing water parks that would make your summer vacation epic and unforgettable.

Aside from its vibrant culture and rich history, the land of the morning calm is also home to many picturesque landscapes, exciting cuisines, unique tourist attractions, and amusement parks— which include amazing water parks where you can make a summer to remember.

From the pure adrenaline and heart-pounding rides to relaxing water activities for the whole family, here are some of the coolest water parks in South Korea where you can cool down and beat the heat.

Caribbean Bay (Everland Resort)
199, Everland-ro, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do

Let’s start with one of the largest water parks in the world which is located at the biggest amusement park in Korea— Everland Theme Park. Caribbean Bay is South Korea’s first water park which includes indoor and outdoor pools and different water activities.

Its top attraction is Wave Pool where waves get as high as 2.4 meters, and concerts are also held in Wave Pool Stage where artists like Mamamoo performed.

There is also a Caribbean-inspired village for you to explore!

Gimhae Lotte Water Park
555, Jangyu-ro, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do

This Polynesian-themed water park located in Busan is divided into outdoor and indoor facilities with more than 40 pools including Korea’s largest outdoor wave pool, largest indoor wave pool, and a 118-meter-long Tornado Slide.

Aside from the exciting water activities, there is also a relaxing Tiki Island Spa where you can experience hot spring baths and wet saunas.

There are also about 15 restaurants and cafes inside the premises where you can enjoy popular Korean snacks and mouthwatering dishes.

Onemount Water Park

This popular water park might be familiar to some, it is an indoor water park located on the fourth and fifth floor of the Onemount building in Gyeonggi-do’s Ilsan near the Hallyu World and KINTEX.

Onemount Water Park has indoor and outdoor water amusement facilities which include its most popular ride Sky Boomerango, a wave pool, a water play facility, a running-water pool, a 40-meter slide, and it also has a sun-tanning facility.

Aside from the thrilling water activities that you can enjoy, there is also a shopping mall, golf, fitness center, and a span at Onemount Water Park.

Sealala Water Park & Spa

If you want to avoid the scorching summer sun but still have a vacation on a Mediterranean beach, this Greece-themed indoor waterpark located in Seoul is the perfect place for you!

In Sealala you can relax on a 140-meter-long lazy river or get wet and wild in their 20-meter-long water slide and a 32-meter-long mat slide.

Ocean World Water Park (Vivaldi Park)
262, Hanchigol-gil, Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do

Vivaldi Park is known for its ski facilities—a go-to place in winter, but its Ocean World Water also makes it a perfect summer destination.

Ocean world is an Egyptian-themed eco-environmental water park situated near the stunning ancient forests of Hongcheon which gives its visitors a picturesque view of the slopes of Palbongsan Mountain.

The water park is divided into five zones — Indoor Zone, Extreme Zone, Wave Pool Zone, Dynamic Zone, and the Mega Slide Zone.
