There is no doubt that the best time to visit Korea is during the Spring, the most convenient season to travel.

In Korea, the month of March signifies the start of spring. Early spring flowers begin to bloom as the warm sunlight thaws the land of morning calm after the freezing winter. The mountains and fields are filled with vibrant spring colors. It's finally time for us to take a day's vacation.

Unfortunately, most of the spring festivals are canceled this year due to Coronavirus, but you can still enjoy the blooming flowers with special tours! Make sure you check out their own seasonal festival before you come to travel so you won’t miss it.

The following is a list of Korean spring festivals that you might want to attend when visiting South Korea.

1. Gyeongju Cherry Blossom Festival


Gyeongju is a must-see for everyone interested in learning about Korea's historic local and traditional culture. In the UNESCO World Heritage Center, you may observe traditional Korean buildings decked with cherry blossoms.
