South Korea is one of the best places for foreign artists to enhance their skills in arts and culture. It's a dreamy place with its majestic culture, traditions, and arts. The country cultivates both traditional and modern wonders for its citizens and the world. Many foreign artists always dream of working within the country for a long time and some even fell in love with the place, short of calling it their home. It takes a lot of courage for foreigners to live in a country they are both familiar and unfamiliar with at the same time.

What is E6 Visa in Korea? To put it simply, it is a long-term visa that makes it possible for foreign individuals who work in the culture and entertainment industries of South Korea. We are given a certain amount of time to live and work within the country for months or years. Though most E6 visa holders are legally processed, some obtained their visas illegally. This caused the Republic of South Korea to decrease the length of stay of foreigners that hold E6 Visa especially artists who work within entertainment and culture industries.

In order to improve and reach out to foreigners who hold Artist Visa or E6 Visa here in South Korea, Arts Council Korea (ARKO) will launch a public hearing on April 16, 2021 (Friday) with some of the most prominent individuals like foreign artists to talk about the importance of E6 visa and how it can be improved and not hinder the stay of every foreign artist within the country.
