SHARE:

As Hallyu Wave becomes widely popular in the Philippines, more and more Korean artists include Manila as part of their tour. Filipino fans are surely in for a treat because there's more to come in the second half of 2018!

Coed group, KARD, started the Kpop party this year with their 'Wild Kard Tour' last February. This was followed by EXO's 'Elyxion' in May. K-pop legendary group, Super Junior, closed the first half of 2018 with Super Show 7 in Manila. It has been confirmed that rising stars Winner, iKon, Seventeen, GFriend, WannaOne and pop band, Day6, are coming down to Manila to meet their Philippine fans.

Aside from K-pop artists, Korean actors have been making their visits to the Philippines. 'While You Were Sleeping' actor, Jung Hae-in, made everyone fall in love with him more with his "Smile" fanmeet last June 30. Goblin's cutiepie, Yook Sung-jae added Manila in his 'Paradise' Tour set on July 14. Philippine Pride Sandara Park and Weightlifting Fairy's leading man, Nam Joo-hyuk will be meeting their fans at a sponsored fancon by a local clothing line on July 29.

Pulp Live World, the premier K-pop concert promoter in the Philippines, who brought Super Junior, BTS, and EXO, are the producers of WannaOne 'One: The World' and Seventeen's 'Ideal Cut'.

YG Entertainment announced two of its hottest boybands, Winner and iKON to visit Manila later this year. They signed a partnership with Live Nation, a newbie in the Philippine concert scene, as the promoter of these concerts.
