Hey everyone. It's been quiet around here for a while.

I won't make excuses or get dramatic about it. Life happened, priorities shifted, and honestly? Running a 24/7 radio station while managing everything else got overwhelming.

But I kept getting messages. People asking when we're coming back. Students saying they used to study with us. OFWs in Korea telling me they missed having something that felt like home.

So here we are. Pinoy Seoul Radio is back on air.

What's Actually Different

We didn't just flip the switch back on. We rebuilt the whole thing from scratch with a better system and actual programming structure.

Here's what changed:

1. Proper Program Blocks (Not Just Random Shuffle)

Before, we kind of just... played K-pop all day. Now we have six distinct programs that rotate 24/7:

  • Fresh K-Pop Hits (8-10 AM/PM) - Latest 2025 releases
  • K-Drama OST Feels (10 AM-12 PM) - Emotional soundtracks
  • K-Pop For Studying (12-2 PM) - Lo-fi instrumental versions
  • Greatest K-Pop Hits (2-4 PM) - Timeless classics everyone knows
  • Throwback K-Pop (4-6 PM) - Second-gen legends (Wonder Girls, 2NE1, etc.)
  • P-Pop Overload (6-8 PM) - Filipino groups like SB19, BINI, BGYO

Then it repeats. Simple, predictable, organized.

2. P-Pop Actually Gets Airtime Now

This is new. We added P-Pop Overload every evening (6-8 PM) featuring Filipino pop groups.

Why? Because we're a Filipino platform. We love Korean culture, but we're still Filipino. Playing SB19 and BINI alongside BTS and BLACKPINK just makes sense.

Plus, a lot of our listeners are OFWs in Korea. They love where they work, but they also miss home. This gives them both.

3. Study Music for Korean Learners

The K-Pop For Studying block (12-2 PM daily) is specifically for people preparing for EPS-TOPIK or learning Korean.

It's lo-fi instrumental versions of K-pop songs—familiar melodies without distracting lyrics. Good background music when you're memorizing vocabulary or practicing grammar.

We have hundred of thousands of people in our EPS-TOPIK Online Facebook group. This one's for them.

How to Listen Right Now

Two ways to tune in today:

Option 1: TuneIn App (Easiest)

  1. Download TuneIn Radio (free app)
  2. Search "Pinoy Seoul Radio"
  3. Press play

Works on phones, tablets, computers. Doesn't matter what device you have.

Option 2: Web Browser

What About the Mobile App?

Yeah, we're building our own app. It'll launch in January 2026.

But let me be clear about what it actually is: a simple radio player with our website built in. That's it.

You'll be able to:

  • Stream the radio (same as TuneIn)
  • Read articles from PinoySeoul.com
  • Everything in one app

No fancy features. No over-promising. Just a convenient way to access everything without switching apps.

If you want to wait until January, that's fine. If you want to start listening now on TuneIn, also fine. Your call.

Who This Is For

Honestly? Same people as before:

  • OFWs in Korea who miss hearing Tagalog and Filipino music
  • EPS-TOPIK students grinding through Korean lessons
  • K-Pop fans in the Philippines who want community
  • K-Drama watchers who love OSTs
  • Anyone who just likes good music

If you're Filipino and you care about Korean culture in any way, this is for you.

What's Next

Over the coming weeks, I'll post more about:

  • Detailed breakdown of each program (what you'll actually hear)
  • How the study music block helps Korean learners
  • Behind-the-scenes of building the mobile app

For now, just try it out. See if you like what you hear. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for sticking around. Welcome back.
