The members of the K-pop group Tomorrow X Together (TXT) are bursting with excitement as the highly anticipated documentary "Our Lost Summer" makes its way to Disney+.
The documentary presents a close-up look at their adventure as they set out on a concert tour, highlighting both the exciting aspects and the unseen challenges that are involved.
In a recent online press conference, Soobin, the leader of the group stated, “There's a lot of behind-the-camera moments and confessions of our true feelings so we try to stay very frank and candid, so I hope you get to see our charms.”
"Our Lost Summer" reveals the endless hours of the group's commitment and effort put into polishing their craft. It serves as evidence of the blood, sweat, and tears that go into creating the extraordinary moments that the fans see on stage.
“When you see us on stages or doing performances, you usually see the bright parts of our performances. But if you watch the documentary, you’ll be able to see the behind-the-camera moments so I hope you’ll have fun watching those,” Yeonjun said.
Beomgyu shares his one of the most unforgettable moments in the documentary.
“Near the end of the documentary, after we were done performing at Lollapalooza, I still remember the facial expressions on our members’ faces. It was such a big stage that we've never been on and the day before, and just before we went on to the stage, my nervousness peaked its hike. So I still remember the facial expressions on the members’ faces after, you know, having pulled off such a big performance. It gave me chills down my spine and I'm very happy to see their faces,” he said.
Beomgyu added that there is another remarkable moment that doesn't feature in the documentary. “During the tour last year, there were moments when I was feeling down or when I felt it was like emotional crisis for me. But every time that happened members would come to me, support me. Give me like a pat in the back and give me some advice, but they only did that when the camera was not rolling. So it's a pity that that was captured in the documentary. And hope that MOAs know that there were those nice and caring moments," he expressed.
When questioned about the specific moment in the documentary that made a strong impact on them, Taehyun answered, “Lollapalooza for sure. The joy and excitement and exhilaration that I felt during the time, I cannot forget and we are actually going back to the Lollapalooza next week so I am very excited for that,” he said. TXT will be performing on Aug. 5 at Lollapalooza."
